A little help, when you need it.

formuno is an iPhone app for designing small organizer trays. These notes cover the current development version.

Start with something familiar.

Open Create and choose Desk Daily, By the Door, or Hobby Bits. Tap “Make it yours” to open your own draft. Designing, saving, and paper size checks work without a connected service.

Make the space your own.

Use Layout to arrange compartments and move dividers. Switch to the 3D view to explore the shape, and use Size to enter dimensions in millimeters or inches. Items helps you plan around things you have measured. Undo and Redo let you revisit your changes.

If a dimension cannot be applied, review the message beside the control. Preview colors are illustrative; they are not an available manufacturing material or finish catalog.

Check with a ruler, then on paper.

Measure the space and the things you want to organize. A photo can offer context, but it cannot establish reliable measurements.

Export a true-scale size-check PDF for A4 or US Letter paper. Print at 100% or Actual Size, with page fitting turned off, then measure the printed calibration line before using the footprint. A paper check helps you understand size; it is not a guarantee of physical fit.

Keep a copy of your work.

Your saved drafts live in My Designs on your iPhone. The app does not provide its own cloud backup or device-to-device synchronization. iOS device backups depend on your device settings. Export an editable .madefor project to keep a separate copy, and use “Import a project” in My Designs to open it again.

A design-preview image is useful for showing someone your idea. It is not an editable project backup. Deleting a local draft does not delete a separate quote or order record held by a connected test service.

Understand the test workflows.

Settings identifies whether you are using the offline Demo or a connected Pilot / Test service. Manufacturing checks and reviewed quotes belong to those test workflows. Sample prices and simulated payments are not offers to manufacture or deliver an organizer.

Email-based recovery, when a test service is configured, restores access to matching transaction records. It does not restore unsynced local designs.
